Be Here for Cully and Concordia, join the Sunday Parkways event on June 26th!

Ride, walk, explore, shop and dine at Cully and Concordia restaurant and retail businesses at the Portland Sunday Parkways grand reopening.

After nearly two years of closure, Portland Sunday Parkways is returning, beginning with a traffic free cycling and walking event in the Cully and Concordia neighborhoods on June 26th from 11:00 – 4:00.

Sunday Parkways encourages Portlanders to use the Portland Greenways transportation system to shop and dine in local small businesses as an alternative to driving to chain and big box retailers.

To promote intentional shopping and dining and support the recovery of the Cully and Concordia business districts, we'll be issuing 1,000 $50 stimulus credits, funded by the American Rescue Plan, which are spendable at local small businesses participating in Here for Portland, Cully-Concordia.

Credits will be issued through Kuto App, a local app-based payment system that promotes local spending and reduces transaction fees.

Look for the green Here for Portland tent along the route to receive a $50 stimulus credit to shop and dine locally.

Who can receive $50 in Kuto App credits?

Anyone joining the Sunday Parkways event on June 26th from 11:00am to 4:00pm can received a Kuto App gift card credit while supplies last.

Where can Here for Cully-Concordia gift card credits be spent?

Credits disbursed through this program can be spent at participating small and local restaurant and retail businesses in and around Cully and Concordia neighborhoods. They can be used for making purchases as well as for tipping frontline workers.

Small restaurant and retail businesses have been hit the hardest over the past two years so that’s where we’re encouraging intentional shopping and dining. We’re also prioritizing outreach and inclusion to address the disproportionate impact to BIPOC owned businesses, low-income entrepreneurs, food carts, and businesses impacted by break-ins and vandalism.
